I am a second-year PhD student primarily supervised by Dr. Elizabeth Dunn. I am interested in how people build meaningful relationships and how those relationships can contribute to happier, less lonely, and more fulfilling lives. My research explores scalable ways to foster social connection, including people’s relationships with AI and how AI may shape the way people connect with one another. I am also interested in how relationships vary across cultures and am currently exploring cultural differences in how people experience and express romantic love.
